What we fitted
We supplied and installed a myenergi Zappi 7kW single-phase charger in black, with a 6.5m tethered Type 2 cable. A tethered charger means the cable stays attached, so there's no digging a lead out of the boot every evening. The Zappi sits on the brick pier between the garage doors, where it's easy to reach from the driveway and the cable coils neatly around the unit when it's not in use.
We also fitted a myenergi harvi, a wireless energy monitor that pairs with the Zappi.
How we did it
The cable run from the meter was around 9.5m in total: a short section outside, then routed through the garage to the charger position, keeping it neat and protected. Once everything was connected, we tested the new circuit and commissioned the charger so it was ready to use.
